1. WELCOME TO BDDONO

Our mission

ASSOCIATION WITH A NON-PROFIT PURPOSE "BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION OF PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGY, NEUROPHTHALMOLOGY AND OPHTHALMOGENETICS" is an autonomous, voluntary, non-profit and non-political organization established in accordance with the Law on Non-Profit Legal Entities.

In its actions, BDDONO is based on transparency and ethics, guided by the public interest, in full compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework.

BDDONO was established in November 2022 in Sofia.
 

The objectives of BDDONO are:

To assist in the development and confirmation of the achievements of Bulgarian medicine in the field of pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmogenetics;

To assist in the prevention of ophthalmic diseases among children; To work for the development of scientific activity in the field of pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmogenetics;

To support the activities of doctors - specialists in the field of pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmogenetics;

To implement in medical practice the latest achievements in pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmogenetics;

To develop the scientific interests, to stimulate the theoretical, practical and scientific developments of its members;

To assist in the training of pediatric ophthalmology specialists to increase their qualifications by organizing scientific events (congresses, conferences, etc.); to participate in the activities of international scientific organizations in ophthalmology;

To support the development of young and talented members of ophthalmic teams;

To organize charity events to support doctors, medical specialists if necessary.

Our mission is also based on the cause of achieving and maintaining transparency about the information we collect about you, how this information is used and shares and your rights regarding your personal data.

 

2. AGREEMENT

 

We inform you that by accessing, registering and / or using the website, you make a legally binding agreement (even when doing so on behalf of a legal entity).

a) When you use the bddono.com page, you make a legally binding agreement with BDDONO;

Registrations pass a verification procedure from BDDONO. BDDONO can not guarantee the identity of everyone using our services. You are responsible for damages caused if you use a registration and an account without you being entitled to do so.

5.2 Notifications and messages

8. CHANGES

9.2. Termination by BDDONO

BDDONO may terminate this AGREEMENT by sending an email to you in the following cases:

a) If BDDONO ceases to operate the website.

b) In the event that BDDONO believes that providing false information or that are below the minimum required to use website age, or that you register for access to areas of the page that you do not have the necessary certification required.

c) Should BDDONO believe you are violating your obligations as a consumer.

d) If BDDONO believes you are violating the rights of others or threatening the security of the BDDONO website or other persons.

e) If you violate these terms and conditions in any other way.

 

9.3. Even after termination of the AGREEMENT, the following shall remain in force:

 

(a) The rights of BDDONO to use and disclose feedback from users;

(b) The rights of other users to re-share the content and information posted by users who have ceased to participate on the website, limited to the scope of the already shared and copied prior to termination;

(c) Points 6.9 and 10 of this AGREEMENT;

(d) Any amounts owed by any party before termination shall remain payable also after termination.

 

10. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

 

a) All provisions will be governed by Bulgarian law, regardless of conflict of laws.

(b) Any dispute relating to these terms and conditions shall be resolved by mutual consent and decided under the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

(c) In the event that anyone claims to BDDONO related to user actions, content or information on the BDDONO website uploaded by users, the user will indemnify BDDONO for any damages, losses and costs of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim.
